This has happened to me twice and to someone else when i was visiting. Someone from another guild visits your land and suddenly your friends bar is filled with guild members from thier guild. Also thier guild tag appears in front of your name in chat but apparently only you can see that (even replacing your own guild tag). Apologies if someone else has reported this previously.
