Hi, and how do you know that tage?
And what about the combat preview...anybody knows what it is and how it works?

They've been on the tester for a while.
There are actually two kinds of exclamation marks on bandit camps...
- The skull tells it's a hard camp, needing more than one attack wave (according to BB)
- The crown tells it's a leader camp
- A skull with a crown means it's both the above
Also the combat previewer has been on the tester, but I'd call it rather rudimentary.
It will not give you any result for hard camps (those with exclamation marks and skulls), just telling you that more than one wave is needed. And it will tell you that even if you'd smash the camp with no losses (like attacking camp 7 in Outlaws with a veteran having 1E 249XB).
When attacking camps that are not considered hard, the combat previewer will give you one of the following four estimates:It does not however take into account the types of units being lost.
- Complete victory - you will lose 20% of your units at most.
- Acceptable losses - you will lose between 20% and 50% of your units.
- High losses - you will lose between 50% and 95% of your units.
- Complete defeat - you will lose more than 90% of your units or may even be defeated.
Thus it would e.g. consider a loss of 80 soldiers (less than 50%) to be better than a loss of 120 recruits (more than 50%).
I will still be using my favourite combat simulator rather than even checking the ingame combat previewer.![]()
Thanks a lot Tage.
This is the one I prefer![]()
