I complained to Apple about Flash - they weren't interested - others have said it is the battery life is shortened, but their latest OS/Browser is flakey - unstable often crashes.

Complained to the EU about Apples refusal to license / allow 3rd party on their stuff - their answer was because it is a developing market and Apple don't have a monopoly, (??), they weren't interested . . . if they were caleed M . . . then it might be different.

I have the Settlers App on my ipad and don't use it cause I find controlling it too difficult - trouble is touch screen - and this is the case for a lot of web pages too.

that's apple for you, they only want you to use their products and flash isn't one of them. The main reason I will never get sucked into their apple only loop.

Ah, but they work so much quicker than PCs. Not mention no where near as many (if at all) virus' out there compared to a PC.
Log on the net for 10 minutes on a PC, stroll through a few sites and...BOOM...tracing cookie, virus, malware, spyware, you name it. PCs are just not safe.

But hey, if they both didn't exist, then everyone would complain there's only 1. Tis a business, gotta' keep that cash flow coming!

Just my personal view, don't like apple, never have, never will. I think tey're overpriced and overhyped - but let not get into an argument about it.
The same can be said about lotus vs outlook for viruses.

I still don't understand why they won't put flash on the i-phone (or mp3 on the ipod for that matter)as so many sites now use flash for all sorts of things

that would be your answer for flash support on an i-pad do mind that you are going against apple policy and you wont be able to return your ipad for repairs with a jailbreak

Adobe is actually discontinuing flash in the sense that they will stop bringing out new versions. even they recognised it's outdated and resource hungry. I read an entry about it on their blog. It will be gone before too long. Html5 is the future. And I don't like apple either btw but html5 is much easier for mobile devices to handle

    The problem is the "FLASH"...

Which tablet PC does support the "Flash 10.0.22.87 and above"?
(-> Which tablet PC does support the "settlers ob line"?)

Don't blame Apple - Microsoft don't support Flash on Windows Phone either. It's resource hungry and soon to be obsolete.
