...because Geologist can't research any more locations for mines. I have too many apparently. Do I really have to wait until all the mines have been exhausted before I can move on? That will take days!
This might be a glitch or something I've not understood so any help gratefully appreciated.
uhm are you looking for bandits or mines?
anywho: if your geo cant find any more mines it means there arent any mines left for the amount of zones you own.. so you have to wait till some are depleted before you can send your geo out again.
Let your explorer .. explore a new area, you will find them!

I finally exhausted a copper mine and the geologist found it again! At this rate I will never find the bandits. Is it because I destroyed the mine?
Your geologist finds mines not bandits, if you want to find bandits you need to send out an explorer not a geologist.
