Farms don't use the field closest (shortest walking distance) to them.
I like the colour scheme in general but the red text on a light brown background (when you don't have enough materials for a building) is quite hard to read.
Bare patches of ground have a later graphics priority than roads. I think it should be the other way around so that you can see roads when they are placed on bare patches.
Can we have a 'placeholder' building. Just a standard building sized square of roads would be fine, but it needs to be placeable only where a building could go.
