Yes I've just experienced the same with Chrome and IE8....

I'm getting the same problem on google chrome and cleared the cache to no avail and then changed to opera which i haven't used the site for and still go the clear cache querry
Im having the exact same problem now. i started playing a couple of hours ago , logged out for 10 mins and now can't get back in....
The error message im receiving is 'The client was unable to load a data file. Delete your browser cache and try again. I have done as requested and still no joy
can anyone help me pls ? i have validated my email address but still cannot send a support ticket. Thanks for listening
I guess I am the newest member of the 'clear cache' club :/ Needless to say it did not help. Nor did switching from Chrome to FF so I suspect some sort of data corruption occurred :/ Beer.. ahm, Mulled Wine is on me tonight. Cheers!
If i hard to guess i think it's taking out loads of people now there must be something seriously wrong, i'm sure the mods will get this info onto bb as soon as they see it, this seems major with how many are having this problem all of a sudden

Same problem. I trained troops, and bum! i got this message: "The client was unable to load a data file. Delete your browser cache and try again" and my bowser got serious crash. After that i cannot log in, also before i enter forum i got another message than my e-mail is not valid. I confirmed it couple of times, but still not valid.
BTW: Firefox (last version), Opera (old one) and IE
