I cant attack with my general.

He was at battle yesterday and since then i cant click the attack button. He is back and i have recruits, but the button is inaktive

I undertook a bounty hunter task, I sent my general with his army to the place requested - not having done one of these challenges before there was a time delay of 30 minutes for army to get there, in the meantime I went back to HOME thinking it wasn't working and clicked on my other general and sent him too, task finished one of my generals has disappeared with my army base, how can I get it back?
