Whilst I agree that the use of pecentages can be confusing at times, the tooltip is correct.
If you use a calculator, such as the one built into windows, and input 1x200% the answer is 2.

I do agree that the use of "double" and "triple" would be less confusing.

Just got thinking about this so I answer it; the game is correct and is not that hard. In correct English, it would say "Increase the production by 200% more" to mean 3 workers, but it says "Increase the production by 200%", so you understand that it takes the 100% and makes it 200%.

Simply wanted to apply to the ones who didn't really understand this.

@Dappa_Don: Please contact support about that: their could be many answers to your question and only they can help you if there is a problem with your code.
@ Stoof: I'm sorry but apart from sending them out on an adventure, their is no way of putting them away.
