clear browser cache (and flash's too), if that still doesn't do it, try another browser and then go back to your old one later when it unsticks.

there was a DNS problem, should be resolved now

Why Maintenance too long time and abnormal now?

Maintenance is normally always advertised on the front page and the forum before it happens, should you have experienced it within the last 24 hours this is likely due to another issue somewhere, were you having any connection issues?

As far as I'm aware it's always been taking place in the same window (Thursday nights from 00:30 to 6:00 GMT or BST)

Ah okay, try clearing your cache and cookies, you can follow this guide and see if it helps
