The crown says it's a leader camp and the skull says BB thinks you will need more than one wave of normal generals to kill the camp
(and probably not even considering the use of e.g. crossbowmen).

Just posted a little more about this in the other thread here.

If I were you, I'd keep trusting the battle simulator you're using.

    Garrison: Fastest Route
    1. Easy Camp (10 Scavenger) [17R (5R)]
    2. Easy Camp (15 Scavenger) [31R (7R)]
    3. Easy Camp (18 Scavenger) [34R (9R)]
    4. Easy Camp (25 Scavenger) [25R & 20B (12R)]
    5. Easy Camp (15 Scavenger + 20 Stone Thrower) [26R & 26B (25R)]

Note: Now comes the tricky part seeing we skipped a camp. if we attack camp 6 directly we will get intercepted. So attack the bandit leader so you will get intercepted by camp 6. Right after Camp 6 is cleared open up your garrison and click retreat. else your general will go to the Leader. (if you need guidance hit me a pm/mail ingame)
    6. Easy Camp (20 Scavenger + 20 Stone Thrower) [32R & 26B (27R)]
    7. Bandit Leader (30 Scavenger + 20 Stone Thrower) [45R & 32B (33R)]
What does he mean with the quote his wrote "Note: Now comes the tricky part seeing we skipped a camp. if we attack camp 6 directly we will get intercepted. - What camp did we skip? Seems to me that 6 comes after 5. He writes that our general will get intercepted - Intercepted by what camp? Why not attack camp 6 after we attack camp 5, and then attack the leader? Can someone explain to me the strategy here?

Teach a settler how to fish, and you will have to rebuild his pond for a life time...

All that has changed with the new pathing, so a fresh look would be needed.

This was how I played it on the test server recently, when I had the chance (too bad I didn't take any pictures):

Place your general a lot further to the west (as far west as you can in Killercore's map above).
You can still skip certain camps: A (the one far outside the image to the left), 1, 3 and the camp north of 3.

The camps you have to attack (without any need of controlled interceptions) would be e.g:
    • B. Easy Camp (10 Scavenger) [17R (5R)]
    • C. Easy Camp (20 Scavenger) [20R & 18B (10R)]
    • 2. Easy Camp (15 Scavenger) [31R (7R)]
    • 4. Easy Camp (25 Scavenger) [25R & 20B (12R)]
    • 5. Easy Camp (15 Scavenger + 20 Stone Thrower) [26R & 26B (25R)]
    • 6. Easy Camp (20 Scavenger + 20 Stone Thrower) [32R & 26B (27R)]
    • 7. Bandit Leader (30 Scavenger + 20 Stone Thrower) [45R & 32B (33R)]

In the "Wild Mary" area you can finish camp "4" in one wave.

    188R ((182))
    12S

So all you loose is 182 recruits. Instead of building so many different units and send 2 waves.

    Hi. I just attacked 1.Easy Camp (6 Scavenger) [10R (3R)] with 20R, lost 3R and was rewarded 50 Coins.

    Soreen.

I've added that one to the spreadsheet, however running it through the combat simulator there is a 13% chance of having your army wiped out with no win (link). You would need to go 150R + 50S to guarantee a win and you would loose Soldiers doing that.

The 1: 96R 2: 42R + 110C + 48LB is the most efficient as you should already have enough longbows and should be building up your cavalry for Wild Mary as soon as you enter the zone (you will sacrifice 199C to defeat her).

Sector 6 2L attack following the suggested ends in 3 waves of failure. The 115 cav do there job but sim indicates that 120 would also take out all the rangers. The second wave [85R 40M 75B] ends in failure for 2 and 3 as wave 2 does not impact enough on the roughnecks. The only way I could find to be effective in wave 3 was to have wave 2 made up of [100M 100L] this even gave an 80% of victory in wave 2, either way from this wave 3 was 100% successful.
