Hi,
First, very nice guide
Second, is it possible to kill wild mary without soldiers and longbows or is it extremely neccesary?
If possible I would like to avoid building tech for soldiers and longbows
thx!

You will need the soldier/longbow since she eats recruits as desert.
Just would like to quote this, as it's what I'm doing right now, which helps keeping the total casualties down. It considerably lowers the time it takes to clear all camps, since you don't need to stop as much and wait for more settlers.
I'm doing a full clear though, so I'm also killing the other encampments. So far I've already received 4x300 GC, which I think it's well worth the extra losses.
Just had a go at camp 4, my 200 recruits did me proud and took the camp in 1st round, 15 survived![]()
Not sure if it's helpful to anybody or not but I've just done
Hard Camp 1 in Sector 9 with (50 Dogs + 40 Rangers + 110 Roughnecks) [1: 160R 14M 26S 2: 80R 12M 24S 50LB 34C (34R)]
and I'm just doing Hard Camp B (140 Rangers + 60 Roughnecks) [1: 70R 14M 36S 45LB 35C - which has left me with 22 Rangers to get on Wave 2]
Also for MT I did
Bandit Leader (Metal Tooth + 149 Rangers + 50 Roughnecks) [1: 105R + 95C (as per KillerCore because nothing else seems to simulate any better) 2: 60R 36M 14S 18B 72 LB (60R 19M)]

Yeah let alone that for instance a steel weapon chain requires a lot resources and the swords take way longer to make.
Im interested in what the war-boot is in the skippted camps in sector 9. Somebody who knows?
I think the only usefull loot came from sector 9. i can only remember 1000 stone though =p
