Unfortunately, there's no way to avoid it. You could possibly block it but understand that you are sending troops to their death, most blocks work because you are taking out the leader camp of the same sector so that you don't end up losing troops in the block. There are 3 camps remaining in S3 beyond the S6 camp's area-of-affect so you'll end up needing to do 3 of these suicidal blocks, losing more troops than if you just attacked the camp.
As the S6 camp is most likely a camp that you need to clear anyway when trying to claim S6, you're better off just dealing with it now in the proper manner. Remember to setup your general for the S6 camp, attack an S3 camp so it get's intercepted by the S6, retreat your general when he starts heading to the S3 camps after he has finished the battle with the S6 camp.
Zone 9, Hard Camp 3 (30 Dogs + 10 Rangers + 160 Roughnecks): [1: 200R 2: 125R + 75LB (294R)]
After 1st wave (all 200R were lost): 10 Rangers + 91 Roughnecks were left
Reward: 1.000 Marble
Zone 9, Hard Camp 4 (80 Dogs + 70 Rangers + 50 Roughnecks): [1: 96R 2: 40R + 50LB +110C (127R)]
After 1st wave (all 96R were lost): 70 Rangers + 49 Roughnecks were left
Reward: 300 Gold Coins

I just did zone 3 on the testserver, and in map 3 it is no longer possible to attack camps 4, 5 and 6 without getting intercepted by the camp at the bottom of zone 6. it must be handled. and with lots of recruits, as it contains many dogs(cavalry).
Getting intercepted there would be a devastating blow to noobs who can ill afford to lose the bows and cavalry they have painstakenly accumulated.
So I would suggest a note in the map 3 post warning of this new 'trap'.

Any alternative setups (less rec lost) for skipped camps in s9?
