I don't mind going to global 7 to trade but what would also be nice is to still be able to be in Global 1 and chat in there also.
I realise that this is not a big issue, but as the game grows it will become more so.

You can chat in Global 1. That's the point of it isn't it? Besides, theres nothing to stop you chatting in guild chat for trade purposes...
Wargasm, guild chat is restricted to the online members of your guild only. They have limited the size of guilds - you need somewhere to openly chat about trade.
I think the 'chat' aspect will be replaced by a barter system at some point as there are so many flashpoints with this system
I am not sure if you get what i am suggesting, having both tabs available would keep the conversation logs. And not everyone is in a guild, so difficult for many.Originally Posted by Wargasm
There is somewhere, the OP mentioned it, it's the global-7 chat, to reach it from global-1 chat, just type /joinchat global-7, he was wanting it as another tab, to avoid having to keep typing the chat change command to hop back an forth between them.
