replanting trees

hi just started playing and have depleted all my tree iu have built fir woods forester but doesnt seem to be replanting trees is there something else i need to do to get my trees back.

Trees are only replanted on tree stubs, not everywhere. If you have forester's, they are replanting trees all the time.

I believe you may have a ratio problem, as you require 1.5 forester's for every woodcutter you have.

If you put your workers on pause, and put one of 2 foresters around the forest you want to replant and then wait a night or two most of the trees in that sector are grown back.
