    Value of map fragments?

Ive been sending my explorers to find adventures and I managed to get 30 map fragments which means I can finally buy the "outlaws" adventure. Realizing I dont have enough troops to finish outlaws Ive thought of selling the fragments which makes me wonder what theyre worth

Now to get 3 fragments you pay:
    10 gold, 50 sausages and 24 hours

1 outlaws adventure ends up costing:
    100 gold, 500 sausages and 240 hours

In the gem shop the adventure "traitors" costs 165 gems and has a similiar pre-req to outlaws (diff. 4 players. 1), lets assume they are equal.
We can also see that buying 100 gold costs 350 gems and 100 sausages 150 gems, meaning you can buy the resources needed to find "outlaws" for 350+150*5=1100 gems. The searching process can be halved each time ending up only needing 120 hours, but each time cutting the search time in half costs at least 30 gems.. adding an additional 300 gems to the cost.

Meaning: to get "outlaws" from gems you need to pay 1400 gems and 120 hours, suddenly "traitors" for 165 gems seems like a bargain

But lets get back to the original question, what would selling 30 map fragments be worth? We cant really use gems as a guideline because the worth would be anywhere between 165 and 1400, if there was ever any order on the normal trade the gems market is a bit of a black box.

This site (http://forum.castleempireonline.com/...Trading-Values) suggests 1 Map Fragment is worth 19 594 trade points, 30 fragments add up to 587 820 trade points. 1 gold coin is worth 5664 trade points, according to this exchange rate 30 fragments end up being worth 103 gold coins (...) Obviously no one in their right mind would use this, 500 sausages and 240 hours would surely amount to more worth than 3 gold coins.

So what is exactly a map fragment gonna be worth? Of course its gonna be worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, but can we try to figure out some kind of objective measure of what it could be worth? Any takers?

If, apart from those few that are currently in staging, any new good adventures are going to be implemented, they will almost certainly take alot of time and effort to find, and will almost certainly cost similar amount to Nords (thats if they ever allow them in the shop). Any adventure that is not considered good is already found at a much higher rate than any player can do it, so no need for buying more.

Noone in his right mind will allow any valuable adventure be bought for fragments, meaning they will have no value.

So youre saying the end-game of TSO is fueled more or less exclusively by gems (real money)?

here are some rewards from outlaws, Id say they look pretty good for a fragment adventure

nope, im saying an average player with 3 explorers will find many more adventures than he can do, and as a result - choose to do the best from his point of view (most goodies/ most exp/ most exp compared to losses). Hence increasing gold prices of the few best ones, and high gem cost of Nords.

This taken into consideration, this adventure was one of the last that anyone would do, and its market price varied between 0 and 10 coins. That is, until they improved the rewards (which Ive apparently missed), now its 'decent' at best. Still plenty of better ones.

It is also easy enough to find that you shouldnt need to spend fragments to get one.

    How? =)

And Im sure, like you say, that some adventures will suit some players better than others, but map fragments arent tied to any one adventure.. you can use them on different ones. Tho I can only see 2 right now, are there more?
