    Carriages improve transport speed of goods

    Simple as that.

    Currently they are kind of useless since any player capable of making cannoniers (level 48) will have 2-3k of cannons already stocked. That makes buildings from the cannon production chain obsolete (especially considering the cost), so why not try to make any of them useful ?

    One carriage per employed settler, building using such improvement can have a visual indication of it (background change of production screen or whatever you find suitable).

    Discuss.

    this sound like a good idea. Faster transport for working settlers

    It might work if they will wear off so you have to replace them to keep the economy going. For example 5% a day or so?

    I like this idea!

    Although k0sh1's modification would mean more work, and would get tediously repetitive, it would just be another job like rebuilding mines/quarries/wells/fields so I think I'd rather have it than not...
