That could be usefull althou i mostly just log in, send out the geologist, then leave unless its stone since its only 4 min then i may wait it and send him out again. But i can understand if someone would want to cancel it anyway.

Smile cancelling search missions of the geologist

    Hi,

I just send out my geologist searching for the wrong ore.
So it would be nice if there was a way to abort search missions of the geologist, explorer.
I made a mistake and then I learned he can not be aborted.
    So maybe an idea!

    greetings Nessya

Yes, or in this case, simply have the geologist do a check at the start of his mission:

    1) Has the player got any free slots for the resource being searched for
if Not, are any mines going to expire within the time it will take to do the search.

If answer to both is no, then it should show a message saying that you're already at your limit for that resource. If not, it should carry on as normal.

The worst thing is, as it currently stands, the game will allow you to send the geologist off on his search, accept the 25 gems to halve the search time and then you can be in the position that he returns, saying you have no spare slots and you've wasted the 25 gems!

I did this, emailed support and got the gems refunded back (thank you ) - but the game should allow you to pay for things that it knows it cannot do.

They never had telephones or radio Geologists back then but yeah, a type of cancel would be nice!
