Gold Mine production not stopping

Anyone ever had a problem with production not stopping on a mine? I stop production before i go to bed on gold mines if i think they will run dry during the night (so i can manually demolish when the deposit gets lower the next day and get some resources back). Trouble is, usually when i log back in the next day the mine has demolished anyway, seemingly not been stopped

i have had similar with other buildings, i always wait now after pressing the pause tab until the building actually shows up as being paused (ZZZZ), waiting like 5 or 6 seconds before closing the window. That seemed to work for me (some lag problem maybe ?)
