    Waves..sorry for being thick!!

But are each wave of attack with a different garrison where you need for one to finish before another attacks or can yo set more than one wave with a general?

1 wave per general, so 2 generals = 2 waves
Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

A weave attack is nothing else that a multi attack preformed by 2 or more armies simultaneously or with a minimum delay. So you will need one garrison and therefore one general per attack. hope that info answer your question

...and just to be clear the generals don't combine forces. Any guide that suggests sending in 2 waves means the first wave will fight, deal damage and be destroyed (the general recovers in 4 hours) before the second wave fights. If you want to you can perform all the waves with the same general, you'll just have to wait for him to recover each time.

This is incorrect, you can wait as long as you want between the attacks, there is no minimum delay. So you can do all the waves in 1 attack with just 1 general.

if you wait "a long time"...then it isent any wave at all, it is: 2 atacks.
The idea of the wave is to win im one go, you send to dead some troops in the first wave(s) to ensure a sweet victory with the last wave, there and then. not tomorrow or is seven weeks time...or 3 hours

The idea of the wave is to use 2+ groups of cheaper units rather than one group of expensive ones, out of which almost all will die. Depending on the camp you might need to use up to 7 waves, and in this particular situation (TDB, last camp) it is very unlikely you will do it in one go, doesnt change the fact that its still multiple waves.

I will make it littlebet more simple 2 understand, waves is just youre own organization of attaks not special option, thats all I think he wonted to know.

The way waves are used ingame and on the forum, it means number of attacks. 2 waves = 2 attacks. It does not matter how much time between the attacks, 2 seconds or 10 hours, it's still 2 attacks, and thus 2 waves. This is also what the waves in the 2 combat sims (castleempiresim and hallophp) that i know mean.

And if you want to discuss the real meaning of the word wave, then there is no use, because that is what a dictionary is for, so that there is no need to discuss: "a mass movement, as of troops, settlers, or migrating birds."
