    Nukar, Killste or Tage, have any of you tried blocking the 250 Housecarl camp near the last sector of Nords? Seems like a block can be done here which would really cut losses.

    My explorers only just yesterday found the Nords for the first time, so now I have a reason to start planning for it...

    If you've got a Veteran General and enough crossbows and elite soldiers, it should be quite easy (with the block lasting at least 9 rounds):

    Units needed: 70R 3S 131E 268C 200B 378XB
    Units lost: 48-70R 200B

    26) 150 HouseCarls [131E 69C (-)] {9 - 13.1 - 18 rounds}
    28) 150 Karls [1S 199XB (-)] {1 round}
    27) 150 Valkyries [1S 199C (-)] {1 round}
    29a) 50 JomVikings, 140 HouseCarls, 30 Berzerks [200B (200B)] {1 round}
    29b) 0-5 JomVikings, 140 HouseCarls, 30 Berzerks [70R 1S 179XB (48R - 59R - 70R)] {2 rounds}

    Note that camps 27 and 28 would have to be attacked as part of the blocking,
    in order to avoid the generals going to camp 29 from being intercepted.

    Even if you haven't got crossbows or elite soldiers, this blocking should still be possible:

    Units needed: 119R 280S 329C 200B 121LB
    Units lost: 108-119R 0-9S 200B

    26) 150 HouseCarls [171S 29C (-)] {7 - 10.6 - 17 rounds}
    28) 150 Karls [98S 101C (-)] {5 - 8.3 - 14 rounds}
    27) 150 Valkyries [1S 199C (-)] {1 round}
    29a) 50 JomVikings, 140 HouseCarls, 30 Berzerks [200B (200B)] {1 round}
    29b) 0-5 JomVikings, 140 HouseCarls, 30 Berzerks [119R 10S 121LB (108R - 119R 1S - 119R 9S)] {3 rounds}

    In this case camp 28 would be round blocked to completely avoid losses on it.

    If you're prepared to lose more expensive units than recruits, there are ways of killing camp 29 in one single attack, e.g:

    29) 50 JomVikings, 140 HouseCarls, 30 Berzerks [85M 165XB (64M - 75M - 84M)] {3 rounds}

    29) 50 JomVikings, 140 HouseCarls, 30 Berzerks [104S 146LB (85S - 94S - 103S)] {4 rounds}

    The task remaining now is to find suitable garrison positions for timing the attacks.

    seems a complete waste of time, since i can take out the last leader with 100b and 45m losses

    camp 28 and 27 don't even require losses.

    so the block would only mean camp 26, which doesn't have that much losses

    Hi Tage...here is some inspiration how to cut the losees to minimum:

    Camp 2 can by blocked, so you can have 0 losses (if you would like, I'll post the picture how to set your generals), but with that kind of losses, it's almost not worth a try (even though I use it everytime ).

    wasted lots of Cavalry and Soldiers with the 2nd method of the block tactic! The first general I sent in finished the battle way before the general fighting the leader! Use 1r and wait for general to recover instead.

    I suggest people do not use these setups, they are not of high detail/quality. Seems the german settler guys have much lower standards than us here, at least the 3 guys mentioned...
