    saw you guys discussing about a new thread.. I have been thinking that would it be better if there was a thread for each adventure separately. Like a thread named stealing from the rich and another named victor the vicious. Would that work better ?

    In that system there would also be tactical maps etc scattered on different pages of the thread, but it would be easier to maybe find more info faster on one adventure you are searching info for ?

    Treid to do the new block in Stealing but i dont work. The gen who attacked block camp A died before attack gen get his target. I dont know if I have right numbers of block soldiers (cant see it anywhere), but I think its 1 rec!?

    edit: Maybee the new stuff on the map make trubble to the route for attack general?

    If you're referring to my latest version, then, no, the block is not 1R.

    With bows becoming cheap lately I prefer the following camp settings for Horseback. It spreads losses between recruits and bows.

    Troops needed: 320R, 200S, 110B, 175LB, 80C
    Generals needed: 250 veteran

    Maximum losses: 317R, 110B
    Average losses: 295R, 110B

    (troops send [maximum losses])
    I used SidV camp numbers as reference

    Camp 16 (47R, 200S [47R])
    Camp 17 (29R, 26S, 175LB, 20B [26R, 20B])
    Camp 11 (43R, 200S [43R])

    Block 1
    Camp 14 (1R [1R]) block
    Camp 15 (27R, 1S, 132LB, 90B [26R, 90B])

    Camp 4 (38R, 200S [38])
    Camp 3 (35R, 138S, 77C [35R])

    Block 2
    Camp 20 (1R [1R]) block
    Camp 19 (97R, 153S [97R])

    Just posting this as an alternative...

    Also problem is, that if happens like SidV that thread creator stopped some reason playing this game, who will continue his work and how?

    If someone has solution those problem, please give private message. Also, map creator searching as well
    Doesn't vBulletin support giving more than the creator and mods edit rights for a single thread?

    I've played this adventure numerous times, and always based on Bob's excellent map.
    His original (German) map was the one where I first learnt about the round blocks.
    This post is the result of the fact, that each time I've played it, I've tried to optimise it ever so little,
    by moving garrisons closer to each other, or by tweaking the blocks to give them a somewhat longer fight.
    I also wanted to show the cases where you can indeed lose soldiers (after thousands of simulations),
    or in some cases opted to increase the number of recruits to avoid losing those soldiers.

    In this post I'm also including a version for those who do not have a veteran general,
    and I'm also giving some options for the attack on the last camp.
    If you do not want to use blocks, SidV's version is still available.
    The camp numbering used here is the same as that used by SidV.

    Outlaws
    Veteran or Battle Hardened General and Round Blocks

    Adventure Info:
    Player Level: 36+
    Difficulty: 4/10
    Number of Players: 1
    Duration: 4 days
    Where to get?: Adventure seek with Explorer or Trader (Shop) for 200 map fragments

    You need at least 4 generals:
    • Three NORMAL generals
    • One VETERAN general or one BATTLE HARDENED general
    The last camp (15) also includes an option which would require one additional BATTLE HARDENED general.

    You need to send troops about 7 times.

    Four versions are presented below.

    BATTLE HARDENED general with Longbows
    • Units needed, average: 574R 6M 173S 386C 181LB (1320 units)
    • Units needed, maximum: 629R 6M 185S 386C 181LB (1387 units)
    • Units lost, minimum: 477R 66S
    • Units lost, average: 564R 74S
    • Units lost, maximum: 629R 97S

    BATTLE HARDENED general XB with Crossbows
    • Units needed, average: 558R 6M 173S 386C 196XB (1319 units)
    • Units needed, maximum: 613R 6M 184S 386C 196XB (1385 units)
    • Units lost, minimum: 464R 66S
    • Units lost, average: 548R 74S
    • Units lost, maximum: 613R 97S

    VETERAN general with Longbows
    • Units needed, average: 505R 76M 173S 386C 246LB (1386 units)
    • Units needed, maximum: 558R 76M 176S 386C 246LB (1442 units)
    • Units lost, minimum: 427R 66M
    • Units lost, average: 499R 70M 3S
    • Units lost, maximum: 558R 70M 14S

    VETERAN general XB with Crossbows
    • Units needed, average: 545R 66M 173S 386C 248XB (1418 units)
    • Units needed, maximum: 598R 66M 176S 386C 249XB 1E (1476 units)
    • Units lost, minimum: 467R 42M
    • Units lost, average: 539R 52M
    • Units lost, maximum: 598R 60M 6S

    This guide includes one 1R block of method 1 and four round blocks of method 2.

    Game flow, garrison settings and losses (minimum - average - maximum):

    Garrison Position G1

    Move your best general as far north as you can in garrison position G1:

    Camp 17) 50 Scavengers, 50 Stone Throwers
    ANY general: [12R 1S 187C (8R - 10R - 12R)]
    VETERAN general: [6R 1S 243C (3R - 5R - 6R)]

    Camp 1) 100 Thugs, 60 Rangers
    ANY general: [100R 4S 70C 27LB (75R - 89R - 100R 3S)]
    ANY general XB: [100R 4S 70C 27XB (75R - 89R - 100R 3S)]
    VETERAN general: [77R 2S 119C 52LB (57R - 67R - 77R 1S)]
    VETERAN general XB: [77R 2S 119C 52XB (57R - 67R - 77R 1S)]

    Camp 2) 60 Thugs, 100 Rangers
    ANY general: [48R 5S 125C 22LB (35R - 43R - 48R 4S)]
    ANY general XB: [48R 5S 125C 22XB (35R - 43R - 48R 4S)]
    VETERAN general: [39R 2S 209C (27R - 34R - 39R 1S)]

    Camp 3) 40 Thugs, 40 Roughnecks, 80 Rangers
    ANY general: [76R 6S 97C 21LB (63R - 73R - 76R 5S)]
    ANY general XB: [75R 5S 94C 26XB (56R - 69R - 75R 4S)]
    VETERAN general: [63R 2S 116C 69LB (45R - 56R - 63R 1S)]
    VETERAN general XB: [60R 2S 148C 40XB (43R - 52R - 60R 1S)]

    Garrison Position G1 (BLOCK TO THE NORTH)

    Move one fast (veteran or battle hardened) general, and three normal generals to garrison position G1.
    Note that these positions have been moved a little closer compared to Bob's guide.
    • Position A: NORMAL general
    • Position B: NORMAL general
    • Position C: NORMAL general
    • Position D: VETERAN general or BATTLE HARDENED general

    Send all four generals right after each other:

    From A to Camp 4) 80 Roughnecks, 100 Rangers
    BLOCKING NORMAL general: [28S 162C (-)] {7 - 9.5 - 13 rounds of fighting}

    From B to Camp 5) 150 Roughnecks
    BLOCKING NORMAL general: [141S (-)] {7 - 9.3 - 13 rounds of fighting}

    From C to Camp 6) 40 Roughnecks, 80 Guard Dogs, 60 Rangers
    BLOCKING NORMAL general: [1R 3S 195C (-)] {6 - 9.0 - 11 rounds of fighting}

    From D to Camp 7) 1 Metal Tooth, 2 Skunks
    BATTLE HARDENED general: [18R 1S 181LB (6R - 13R - 18R)] {3 rounds of fighting}
    BATTLE HARDENED general XB: [3R 1S 196XB (0R - 1R - 3R)] {2 rounds of fighting}
    VETERAN general: [3R 1S 246LB (0R - 2R - 3R)] {2 rounds of fighting}
    VETERAN general XB: [1R 1S 248XB (0R - 1R - 1R)] {2 rounds of fighting}
    VETERAN general XB: [1E 249XB (-)] {2 rounds of fighting}

    If you have the one needed elite soldier, pick the last option for no losses.

    Garrison Position G1 (BLOCK TO THE WEST)

    No need to move any generals. And only two generals are needed:
    • Position A: NORMAL general
    • Position D: VETERAN general or BATTLE HARDENED general

    Send both generals right after each other.
    The blocking general must be sent to camp 19. It will thus avoid camp 16, but will be intercepted by camp 18.

    From A to Camp 19) 60 Scavengers, 60 Stone Throwers (Camp 18)
    BLOCKING NORMAL general: [1S 125C (-)] {4 - 6.4 - 9 rounds of fighting}

    From D to Camp 19) 50 Scavengers, 50 Guard Dogs, 50 Stone Throwers
    ANY FAST general: [75R 125S (60R - 68R - 75R)] {1 round of fighting}

    Garrison Position G2 (BLOCK)

    Move one fast (veteran or battle hardened) general and two normal generals to garrison position G2.
    These garrison positions are unchanged from Bob's guide. The blocks are tweaked a little for longer duration though.
    • Position A: NORMAL general
    • Position B: NORMAL general
    • Position C: VETERAN general or BATTLE HARDENED general

    From A to Camp 20) 100 Scavengers, 50 Stone Throwers
    BLOCKING NORMAL general: [1R 191C (-)] {5 - 6.7 - 10 rounds of fighting}

    From B to Camp 21) 50 Scavengers, 50 Guard Dogs, 50 Stone Throwers
    BLOCKING NORMAL general: [3R 151C (-)] {4 - 6.2 - 9 rounds of fighting}

    From C to Camp 22) 1 Skunk, 100 Guard Dogs, 80 Stone Throwers
    BATTLE HARDENED general: [89R 111S (66R - 78R - 89R)] {3 rounds of fighting}
    VETERAN general: [87R 163S (66R - 77R - 87R)] {2 rounds of fighting}

    Garrison Position G3

    Move your best general to garrison position G3:

    Attack camp 25. The general will be intercepted by camp 23, and then continue to camp 25.

    From A to Camp 25) 80 Scavengers (Camp 23) and 80 Stone Throwers (Camp 25)
    ANY general: [21R 1S 178C (16R - 19R - 21R)]
    VETERAN general: [16R 1S 233C (11R - 14R - 16R)]

    Garrison Position G3 (BLOCK)

    Move one fast (veteran or battle hardened) general and one normal general to garrison position G3:
    • Position A: NORMAL general
    • Position B: VETERAN general or BATTLE HARDENED general

    Send the generals right after each other:

    From A to Camp 24) 80 Scavengers
    BLOCKING NORMAL general: [1R (1R)]

    From B to Camp 10) 30 Thugs, 80 Guard Dogs, 50 Rangers
    ANY general: [92R 108S (69R - 83R - 92R 3S)]
    VETERAN general: [82R 150S (62R - 72R - 82R)]

    Garrison Position G4

    Move your best general to garrison position G4:

    Camp 11) 100 Scavengers, 30 Guard Dogs, 30 Stone Throwers
    ANY general: [97R 103S (78R - 87R - 97R 1S)]
    VETERAN general: [79R 150S (65R - 73R - 79R)]

    Garrison Position G4 (BLOCK)

    Move at least one fast (veteran or battle hardened), and two normal generals to garrison position G4.
    Note that these positions have been moved a little closer compared to Bob's guide.
    • Position A: NORMAL general
    • Position B: NORMAL general
    • Position C: VETERAN general or BATTLE HARDENED general
    • Position D: OPTIONAL VETERAN general or BATTLE HARDENED general (see below)

    Send the generals right after each other:

    From A to Camp 13) 60 Thugs, 60 Guard Dogs, 60 Rangers
    BLOCKING NORMAL general: [3M 4S 193C (-)] {5 - 7.5 - 10 rounds of fighting}

    From B to Camp 14) 60 Thugs, 60 Guard Dogs, 60 Rangers
    BLOCKING NORMAL general: [3M 4S 193C (-)] {5 - 7.5 - 10 rounds of fighting}

    From C to Camp 15) 1 One-Eyed Bert, 180 Thugs
    BATTLE HARDENED general: [82S 118LB (66S - 74S - 81S)] {3 rounds of fighting}
    BATTLE HARDENED general XB: [82S 118XB (66S - 74S - 81S)] {2 rounds of fighting}
    VETERAN general: [30R 70M 12S 138LB (30R 66M - 30R 70M 3S - 30R 70M 11S)] {2 rounds of fighting}
    VETERAN general: [140R 20M 12S 2E 76LB (140R 9M - 140R 20M 3S - 140R 20M 12S)] {3 rounds of fighting}
    VETERAN general XB: [75R 60M 4S 111XB (75R 42M - 75R 52M - 75R 60M 3S)] {2 rounds of fighting}
    VETERAN general XB: [148R 20M 10S 2E 70XB (148R 7M - 148R 20M - 148R 20M 10S)] {3 rounds of fighting}

    Of the veteran versions, the latter ones are somewhat cheaper in lost units,
    but are also somewhat more risky, due to them lasting one round longer.

    If you do not own a veteran general, but do own two battle hardened generals,
    you might consider this optional way of defeating camp 15:

    From C to Camp 15) 1 One-Eyed Bert, 180 Thugs
    BATTLE HARDENED general: [80R 80B (80R 80B)] {1 round of fighting}

    From D to Camp 15) 1 One-Eyed Bert, 102-111 Thugs
    BATTLE HARDENED general: [92R 7S 101LB (71R - 85R - 92R 4S)] {2 rounds of fighting}
    BATTLE HARDENED general XB: [100R 1S 18C 81XB (73R - 88R - 100R)] {2 rounds of fighting}

    And if you do own one veteran general and one battle hardened general, and don't want to lose militia,
    you might consider this optional way of defeating camp 15 (note that it is more risky, due to the longer fighting):

    From C to Camp 15) 1 One-Eyed Bert, 180 Thugs
    BATTLE HARDENED general: [121R (121R)] {1 round of fighting}

    From D to Camp 15) 1 One-Eyed Bert, 123-134 Thugs
    VETERAN general: [100R 8S 33C 109LB (80R - 97R - 100R 7S)] {2 rounds of fighting}
    VETERAN general XB: [100R 8S 54C 88XB (80R - 96R - 100R 7S)] {2 rounds of fighting}

    All garrison setups where recruits and soldiers are included have a very small chance of one or a few soldiers being killed.
    I prefer having it so tight, that in most cases that one soldier survives and actually saves one recruit by taking the last hits in the battle.
    That being said, be prepared to lose the odd soldier(s) after playing the same adventure hundreds of times...

    Well Tage, it's stunning, you've done an absolutely wonderful job with the graphics and the written instructions. Goodness only knows the hours you must have spent on it. Fantastic, and well done to you and Killste both.

    I'm looking forward to your guide to Sons of the Veldt with anticipation.

    By the way, the garrison(s) for the final camp in Island of the Pirates don't work, not for me anyway - twice, and not on UllrichB's Combat Sim.

    Thanks Majikrider for information. Seems map has been added some stuff etc, that you can't place generals same position as before. According to test server there is coming "improvement" as path finder. If path finder is included to "normal" server, we must completely fix our adventure maps.

    Edit: Previous post already made re: Island of the Pirates being inaccurate. PErhaps worth taking it down now? Cheers.

    Camp 1) 50 Thugs, 50 Guard Dogs, 50 Rangers
    ANY general: [100R 4S 70C 27LB (75R - 89R - 100R 3S)]
    ANY general XB: [100R 4S 70C 27XB (75R - 89R - 100R 3S)]
    VETERAN general: [77R 2S 119C 52LB (57R - 67R - 77R 1S)]
    VETERAN general XB: [77R 2S 119C 52XB (57R - 67R - 77R 1S)]

    Do I miss something here? My experience and the simulator tells me I will loose a lot of cavalery here and totally not what is foretold in guide.

    EDIT: Ah it's a guide mistake not tactics. Only 100 Thugs and 60 rangers in Camp 1 not 50 thugs, 50 Guard dogs and 50 Rangers.
