hi
i have read ur guide but i have some doubt about "garrison g4", i read
Position A: NORMAL general
Position B: NORMAL general
Position C: BATTLE HARDENED general or NORMAL general
Position D: VETERAN general or BATTLE HARDENED general
but i dont see setting for normal general in position C
there is the same "problem" with garrison g5:
Position A: NORMAL general
Position B: BATTLE HARDENED general or NORMAL general
Position C: VETERAN general or BATTLE HARDENED general
any setting for normal general in position B
can u fix it,please?

I will need to do a thorough check on all the block timings and battle timings before I'll update it completely.
For the time being the following still applies though:
The mentioning about being able to have a normal general in the blocks is something I've added with caution:
The mentioning about replacing a BHG with a normal general only applies to the first, suicidal wave against the leader camp.
I need to change that bit now, after adding the options with BHG as the main general as well...
but basically they are the ones where the positioning indicates BHG or ANY.
Thus, for G1 I haven't even mentioned the possibility to have a normal general in position C.
It would simply be on the verge of not being as safe as I want it to be...
For G2 the timing is so generous, that a normal general can in fact be used in position C every time.
For G4 and G5 the normal generals are there in the placements.
Thus, if you want to use normal generals for the suicidal attacks, you may.
The suicidal wave will thus last 10 seconds longer, and will make the block somewhat more risky.
Once I've updated the guide with exact timings, I'll be able to tell exactly what and if that risk is...
thanks for the reply more than exhaustive
i will wait ur testing,thank u again
i have to do this adventure for quest "...losing fewer 50 soldiers..." but i dont want to lose 5000 recruit for a quest
Hello there
I´m happy with this thread and have been using it in a loooong time, but i´m growing more and more tied of all the jibberjabber in between all the guides, I know its there for good reason and no I have nothing against people asking questions, but would it be possible to make the guide thread a closed thread where killste and tage can edit in it. And then make a comment thread along side of it. Would also make it so more easier to clean up in the adventures.
We have thought about that for some time already, but...
It is an advantage to have the adventures in the same thread, so that it's easy to quote something from them, without having to copy that quote into another thread. With that in mind, I still at some stage probably will open up a locked thread to store away finished guides into. But I think I'll wait till I've finished the guides for all (or at least most) adventures. Hope you can live with Killste's index for the time being, Faststriker.
RE soft
killeste i have used your guides on most adventures and they work flawlessly
,however in softv in camp 14 you show occupying units as 1 bert +1 skunk actualy its 2 berts +1 skunk and this kills your setup of 52 recruits,2 steel,60 cav+xbows
First of all I assume you refer to my guide of SotV (Killste never made one)...
Both camp 14 and camp 14 contain the same units:I suspect you may have attacked camp 16 (or camp 17) instead of camp 14...
- 50 Roughnecks
- 50 Rangers
- 1 Skunk
- 1 One-Eyed Bert
Camp 16 contains:Those Guard Dogs would be lethal against your crossbows if you sent the general meant for camp 14 onto camp 16 instead...
- 50 Guard Dogs
- 50 Roughnecks
- 1 Skunk
- 2 One-Eyed Berts
