    Tactical map

This is Beta Version about Outlaws maps. I try to fix pictures and map end of the week. Map has not yet garrison positions to block 4A and 4B.
    All blocks are extreme difficult
Use block general normal generals and atack general (that atack leader camp) battle hardened general

I tried to atack camp 5 with 2 waves while blocking camp 5A and 5B but is extreme risky so I will delete it in complete version.
There is possible to block camp 5B and atack with 2 waves to camp 5 but its not worth anymore , because you loose soldiers and you need 2 battle hardened generals.
Did I misunderstood this blocking method? sacrificing lots of cavalries and Soldiers?

Not necessarily sacrifising them. If the attack general can win the fight at the bandits leader camp before the block generals battle is finished, you get all units following the block general back. This means that you can save a huge amount of units......if you can time the attacks just right.

But it still is very difficult. If your timing is a little bit wrong you will loose troops. If your blocking general has a to strong or to weak army, you will loose troops. If your attack general takes to long to win or if he looses you will loose troops. Sometimes it's just better to use recruit spamming or a combination of blocking and spamming.

Hey i was checking out your horseback adventure

and i don't quite see how you can only lose 36R maximum at camp 5

They have 90 Nomads and 90 Composite Bowman
And you are attacking them with 36R/1S/163LB

First of all there is no first strike and no last strike so there will be full damage from both sides

Nomads do 10-20 dmg with 60% hit
Composite Bowman do 20-40 dmg with 80% hit

so let's assume worst case scenario

90x 10 dmg = 900dmg equals (900/40) 22 dead recruits and one of them half dead
    90x 20 dmg = 1800dmg equals (1800/40) 45 dead recruits

I've assumed worst case scenario here which you know Never happens.

    I'm using this:
    http://www.settlersonlinetools.com/e...e=90/nomade=90

as a combat calculator, but the strange thing is that this one says just like your guide that everything should be fine

    So my question:
    Did i miss something?
Am i doing the math wrong?
I've really tried and maybe i'm just stuck in my own reasoning but i can't see what i'm doing wrong

    hope you can help me

    kind regards,

    Onberijkbaar

WITH THE NEW PATHING, THIS GUIDE IS NOW OBSOLETE
AN UPDATED GUIDE FOR THE NEW PATHING CAN BE FOUND HERE.

    Dark Priests
    Veteran General
    R/S/LB version

I got my veteran general last night, and I already love him!
I tried him out killing the Dark Priest today...

And sorry Killste, I'm still going to use SidV's map as a reference here, partly due the the camp numbering, partly due to the fact that I prefer killing all camps, for maximum XP!

    Units lost max: 484R 19C 8M

Note that I'm using a lot more soldiers than previously for this adventure!
Note also that this is based on solo playing.

You need at least 2 generals, one normal and one veteran.
You need to send troops 5 times.

    Units needed, average: 373R 230S 249C 73LB (925 units in total)
    Units needed, maximum: 386R 230S 249C 73LB (938 units in total)

    Units lost, minimum: 332R 4C
    Units lost, average: 371R 12C
    Units lost, maximum: 386R 5S 18C

Game flow, garrison settings and losses (minimum - average - maximum):
    • VETERAN - Must be a veteran general with 250 units
    • NORMAL - Must be a normal (slow) general
    • ANY - Can be any kind of general.
Note that, whenever a garrison consists of a mixture of recruits and soldiers:
    • adding more recruits might increase casualties
    • adding more soldiers won't change the outcome

    Move to garrison position G1:

The adventure starts with a method 2 blocking:

    Camp 5) 20 Thugs, 20 Guard Dogs [NORMAL: 17S (-)] {4 - 9 rounds of fighting, average 6.6}
    Camp 6) 20 Thugs, 20 Guard Dogs, 20 Rangers, 1 Skunk [VETERAN: 37R 213S (27R - 32R - 37R 1S)]
    1. First send your normal general from garrison A to camp 5 with 17S.
This is optimised for maximum number of rounds, so do not change the number of units!
    2. Then send your veteran general from garrison B to camp 6.
You cannot be too fast, so send this general as soon as you can.
After this, clear the two camps to the east:

    Camp 11) 60 Cultists, 20 Dark Priests [VETERAN: 10R 1S 239C (7R - 9R - 10R)]
    Camp 12) 25 Cultists, 25 Shadowsneakers, 30 Fanatics, 10 Firedancers [ANY: 54R 71S (45R - 51R - 54R 1S)]

    Move to garrison position G2:

    Camp 7) 30 Cultists, 40 Dark Priests [VETERAN: 1S 249C (-)]
    Camp 8) 30 Dark Priests, 30 Shadowsneakers [ANY: 31R 31S (31R - 31R - 31R 1S)]
    Camp 9) 30 Cultists, 20 Shadowsneakers, 10 Firedancers [ANY: 27R 59S (24R - 26R - 27R)]
    Camp 10) 40 Cultists, 30 Dark Priests, 20 Shadowsneakers, 1 Witch [VETERAN: 61R 3S 113C 73LB (46R 4C - 58R 12C - 61R 1S 18C)]

    Move to garrison position G3:

    Camp 13a) 30 Shadowsneakers, 50 Fanatics, 10 Firedancers [ANY: 31R (31R)]
    Camp 13b) 50 Fanatics, 10 Firedancers [ANY: 171C (-)]
    Camp 15) 40 Cultists, 40 Dark Priests, 40 Shadowsneakers, 1 Dark High Priest [VETERAN: 135R 115S (121R - 133R - 135R 1S)]

A friend of mine decided to try out one of the newest adventures on the test server, and asked me for optimised garrison settings...
It took longer than I thought, and before I had the recommendations for her, she had already decided to cancel the adventure...
After all, the losses are huge, you only have 2½ days to finish it and the loot is crap in relation to the effort needed.
    But, here it is...

The only map I could find is a German one on Siedler-Vision, made by cAmou309. All credit for the map goes to him:

All camps are layed out sequentially, so there are few that can be skipped or blocked.

You need several generals, mainly due to the fact that a lot of them will be recovering after suicidal waves.
And you've only got 60 hours to kill all 22 camps...

Depending on the version below, you need to send troops some 13-20 times!

The four blocks used are all of method 2.

    Four versions are presented below;
    • NORMAL generals. Do not use blocks if you only have these.
    • BHG - battle hardened general (at least one of them). 4 blocks used.
    • VETERAN general (one of them). 4 blocks used.
    • VETERAN general (one of them) with Crossbows. 4 blocks used.
Veteran or battle hardened generals are not needed for the first suicidal waves on camps that are taken in two waves.
Only for the veteran attack on camp 22 must all four waves be with veteran generals, thus also needing time for recovering between each wave.

    NORMAL generals
