    BobGuides - Veteran Strategy Maps

To the guide users, the thread starter hasn't updated the map to take into acount
the new pathings of the general. Your general may be intercepted and blocks may
    not work

When thread starter comes back and starts update map(s) to new pathfinding system,
    this message can deleted.

    Hi Guys!
    Greetings from Germany

I have created Veteran Strategy Maps for most Adventures, most of them involving Blocks, but the Blocks are set up in way that they are easy to execute. For the more complex Strategies I have recorded Video demonstrations of full Playthroughs to show how exactly everything works.

I decided to create English Version of all my Strategy Maps as well, you can find them at bobguides-en.blogspot.com or via the directlinks below.

I cleaned up the EC-Icon a bit to be more in line with the other icons.

Yea unfortunately Blocks can fail if Servers are really slow and Generals leave the Garrisons with a delay, best thing you can do is to watch the Generals closely to make sure they dont come out delayed.

    Hi,

Good to see another guide maker on the forums active However I would like to say after checking up a few setups for camps that were better than my own, I do notice that your quality is not quite up to our standards - for example, in Old Friends you list camp 1 as "58R / 192s" while this can lead up to loss of 3s. This seems to be typical among german mapmakers somehow - most of the maps I see list very optimistic setups and losses, that usually when run through the simulators more than 1000 times result in loss of cavalry, soldiers, or even xbowmen.

What simulator do you guys use, and how many repeats do you do as minimum ?

Cool but films are 30min+, they are too long. Cut them or mark where is what done.

I usually simulate everything 10000x or more, but you're right that setup for this camp is not optimal and I wasn't aware of that. I will change that soon.

Edit: I fixed it quickly, should be fine now. In any way I recommend blocking the first Camp, that way you only lose 1R

I could make the videos without showing battle reports, that would cut down the length quite a bit. I keep that in mind for later.
