Lost generals and quest after 16/05/2012 maintenance

To all concerned,

Blissfully unaware that the maintenance session was due, I started an adventure. Afterwards I still had plenty of time to finish it but the adventure button/window had vanished, and with it two generals and some valued troops.

At the very least I hope these cowardly deserters were put before a firing squad (or a firing mod?).

PPS The missing troops are still visible in the population limit display (so still taking up space in the houses).

You might have checked this already - is the adv not visible in quest log/ '!' next to avatar? For some reason adv seems to end up without the 'tick' after maintenance, thereby you cannot see the little box to right of screen.

If it's not in quest log - a ticket to support as Azariel said

This is probably too obvious and you may have already done this but have you tried clicking on the quest book next to avatar, sometimes my adventure windows disappear and i find them in there
