    Buffing The Mayors House

    I would like to see the Mayors House able to take regular buffs like fish platters. Or at the very least Settler production rate increase when the Mayors House is leveled up. A lot of people reach the point where they can create the resources for units quicker than they can the units themselves and rely on masses of bread to keep the game moving.

    8 Settlers per hour will not make the game speed away out of control and still keep it at a nice sedate pace.

    If game buffs worked on the Mayor's house, there would be no point in BB selling Love Potions in the Trader.
    Some things are best left as premium options

    Firstly not everyone is willing to or can afford to buy the gems, secondly a platter would only double production for 30/45 minutes instead of 12 hours. It is pretty hard to get a building buffed constantly for 12 hours, even a gift basket only lasts 6/9 hours.

    I do think production increase when leveling the mayors house is a better option though.

    It's all well and good for those who are at a high level and have resources to spare on making Settlers in the production house but most of us in Sandycove need every spare bit for making armies.

    I had an idea to use research buildings in order to allow players to increase production rates- as shown here
