Design Bug: Msg Text panel sizing

Discovered this design error when messing about with resizing of the text panel (Global/Help/News panel) to maximum. You loose the Icons to shrink it back down again so your permanently stuck with the panel in maximised state and unable to log out. Had to exit browser and restart game.

Perhaps a solution might be to not allow players to resize this panel over the logout button (Avatar image in circle thing) or prevent the shrink/enlarge icon from disappearing from view whilst resizing the panel (let it always float in front?).

So many different screen sizes and resolutions to take into account that it's not as easy as that.

The minimize/maximize icons are of no help when they disappear off screen. A second minimize icon below the scroll bar would solve this problem.

A "restore" button at the bottom would be better, restoring the screen elements to the login defaults.

Yeah., I can imagine. Perhaps just have a "restore to default size" icon on bottom of that panel besides those on top of it. Then again, your idea of just having something to restore the elements would be just as good. anyway, back to game...

I have the same problem, I am using the latest Firefox 13.0 my screen size is 1280 x 800 but that dosen't seem to be the problem.

when I start to drag the size of the box it Jumps to a larger size and the only thing that I can do is refresh the browser completely.
If there was a chat reload control it would be helpful.
I have done a screen cap to show you what I see, I resized it smaller than original so it fits this page better but it is still big enough to see

hide your friends, fixed the problem for me. (upside down triangle under you the star)

press the arrow under your Star menu this drops the friends list out of sight,then grab the chat box and pull it down that will fix it
