I fail to see how it costs more money. More resources, sure. But not more money. With out time nothing gets done, if you don’t have the time then there is not much point in playing. As the game develops I would hope things are brought out that increase the time needed to play, ideally providing something entertaining when we do.
If an ATM goes wrong and starts giving customers double what they ask for, for free. When it gets fixed the customers don’t whine and complain the ATM got fixed they accept they got lucky and the bank repaired the problem.
Same has happened with the game movement mechanics. They were allowing less solider deaths then was meant to be done either by out right skipping or blocking so they got fixed a bit.
The problem isn’t that things got fixed it’s that map difficulty means nothing and all that makes a map hard is the unit loss count. Making some maps pointless to have in the game and other maps in some respects to good.
A whole new system for how we fight, get rewards and xp needs to be introduced imo. One that makes all maps viable to do and you get out what you put in based on troop loss.
This fix is only plugging a hole that let us in essence cheat the system that was previously in place. If anything it now lets us spend some time recalculating the fights in lieu of having nothing interesting to do in the game.
