Avatar change to profile picture?

Im tired to watch anonymys avatar in game, I want to watch my ugly face instead.
Is it possible in future to change avatar picture, to upload my picture instead?

Personal avatars would need to be stored somewhere server side and sent to each client upon request. All current avatars are stored client side. People already complain about lag, this has the possibility of causing more lag.
