The English alphabet has been shortened to 25 letters

I am aware that certain words or phrases are censored, even in guild chat, which is fine and I respect the need for it. But why does the letter K come out as ***. Even if you type the alphabet in full, you get ...I,J,***,L,M...

I might be a little too old (at 45) for the shorthand texting type language, but I have never known anyone to take offence at the letter k. One of my guild mates suggested it may be drug related, but if that is true, why not E as well. At least I have heard of that one.

So is this a bug, or something that is offensive to some people. I discovered this when someone tried to type OK, but missed the O. I asked if he was swearing and he said no, and then after a process of elimination we worked out it was this "offending letter".

    Very curious

can't understand why any single letter of the alphabet should be removed as people will type what they want in chat.

also do not understand this since if you type kk or kkk (which could be considered offensive by some) it works fine.

As you can also just enter 1 letter its not spam prevention either.

    Hi guys,

This is a well known issue and I've already reported to the devs some time back... I guess it's time for me to ask them again about this

PS ... you're in the Vauxhall League with regard to your age. Just you wait until you get up here in the Premier - then you'll know what age discrimination is :-) lol

Edit BB_Azariel: carefull, you left in one "k" in the last sentence

Ah ha ... another very senior moment ... and they are happening all to often these days :-)

Anyway it is weird, that the cencored part doesn't show up cencored to the writer = he doesn't know it is cencored, if someone doesn't say it came up ***.

Even funnier, and please do this in whisper to a friend, so you don't inadvertantly bring down the wrath of Mod, but try typing this sentence:
" There is no k in Stoke".
