You have the wrong values for enamies on L4 I lost all my troops.

You must have read it wrong or put in the wrong combination of troops, His values are correct!

The values given for L4 aren't the best as they result in a chance to lose Crossbowmen, which is unacceptable to me.

I used the best I found on a combat simulator which is:
50R, 25M, 2S, 173A (Max loss: 50R 25M 1S)

Using this I lost 50R, 24M.

If you're unsure about any values, always use a combat simulator first.
