Resources should indeed be added to your warehouse when the mail disappears. That should still be added for the new trade system, because you can still trade with friends, and that can cause the same problem as you have now.
Hopefully BB_Dantesama can forward your suggestion to the right people in the hopes to have this added in the future.

These are the emails sent and the replies received. I leave you to judge for yourself!

back). I also more importantly left a large volume of Gold Ore trades (
Ican't remember how much now but it was a lot, from Saturday Morning and
maybe even some from Friday Night) in exactly the same way. I went today to
collect those accepted trades , but found that they were no longer in my
    inbox.
This is not a small amount of value.
Can something be sorted out please?
    Thanks

    Hello Monotaur,

Thank you for taking the time to get in touch.

Players should not make their inboxes as a second storehouse as from time to time we clear all mail boxes in the game.
Any resources lost are not recoverable, and as a rule we do not compensate players under these circunstances.
We apologize for any inconvenience thei may have cause. If you have any questions please let me know.

    Kind regards,

    Dear Sir,

I was not "making my inbox a second storehouse". It may be surprising to some on here, but some of us have lives that extend beyond this game. I sent those trades Saturday Morning and then needed to get them accepted! I had to go out Saturday Afternoon and was not able to return until very Late Sunday evening. I even attempted to log on from where I was staying Saturday night, but had a very slow and unreliable connection.

I can understand maybe if I had been holding everything there for a month then it could be justified to clear down my inbox. But this was less than two days probably less than 1!?.

We are talking here about 180 stacks of coal. about 30-40 stacks of gold ore. (3-4k value worth in total). I made legitimate trades to get these, at the very worse case scenario you should have put these items into my store not confiscate them. Also I don't see anywhere in the rules that it says accepted trades are confiscated within 24hrs of them being accepted!

This is blatantly unfair and unreasonable in my book. I have been playing this game EVERYDAY! since March this year. I have to seriously consider quitting now which will be a shame not only to myself, but those other players out there who rely on my trading for their own game play. Any game has to consider the personal needs of players beyond that of the game and they should be allowed to have personal lives without fear of reprisal from in game officials.

I look forward to hearing from you in due course

    Kind Regards

    Mon

    Hello Monotaur,

The items were not confiscated, they were simply erased. It was not because you had them in your mail box instead of your storehouse, it was just the mail maintenance which happends randomly in the month. There are certanly no rules about keeping items on your mail box, however we do not advise you to keep them there as at any moment the mails can be erased. We did not do this on purpose, it was an unfortunate thing that happened to you.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
    Kind regards,
    BB_Blackwill.

    Dear Blackwill,

"The items were not confiscated, they were simply erased". Does that make it acceptable then that I end up out of pocket to the tune of 3-4k value of goods simply because you decide to erase everyones emails at some random time. Like I said had they been there for a while then I would have had less to complain about but they were not even there a full weekend!

" ..we do not advise you to keep them there as at any moment the mails can be erased." Well that's just great! so not only am I expected to hang around with my eyes glued to the inbox for up to 8 hours after sending trades, but I have to be ready to accept everything in nano seconds because the cleaner might be in town at that moment!

"We did not do this on purpose, it was an unfortunate thing that happened to you." Unfortunate yes, but is it my problem?! NO! I think you should do the correct thing and reimburse accordingly!

I look forward to hearing from you with some positive news.

    Kind regards

    Mon

    Hello Monotaur,

As I have mentioned before, we are unable to provide compensation for the loss of the items. I have also checked you log in history and I can see that you have logged in the game at least twice a day at different times during those days for over a week. Although I understand you may not have the time to be online all the time, you did have the chance to remove those trades from your mail box before they were deleted according to the log in history.
Unfortunately, we are unable to help you further on this issue.
    Kind regards,

    Hello Blackwill,

Please state the facts fully! Below you suggest a period of "a week" This is a blatant lie as the trades were from Saturday and were stolen by your team by Sunday evening!

    Please answer these questions!

1: When were the trades in question that I sent accepted by the other people?
2: How long after they accepted those trades did members of your team delete my inbox?
3: Where in the rules or anywhere else does it say trades have to be accepted within a certain time or they may be deleted at any moment without notice, rather than simply being placed into the storehouse which would be a rational, fair and logical thing to do.

Your actions and attitude make a mockery of this game. I certainly for your own sake assume this is the attitude of the entire BB setup and not just yours.

I have spoken to just about everyone I know online about what happened and they all agree with me that your behaviour is outrageous and shocking.

I have been playing this game everyday since March this year. I now intend to stop once and for all. I shall never play this or any other BB game again and I will do my best to make sure anyone else I know follows my advice and does the same.

So BB send you to support to get your items back but the BB at support say you can not have your items back even thou they admit to knowing that they deleted them. On top of that they also say that any player at any time could have any goods in there mail erased without warning.

If mailbox is a problem ingame and you have the need to reduse space on them , i would think it only normal if you give some kind of notice on that.
random deletion of peoples mail i find to be rather rude.
whats next? random deletion of your storage or gems just cos they bored?
As of now i'm totally done buying gems, i will not support a game where random deletions without warning happen to players not abusing the rules.

I like the game and support it with real money, but if they do not respect the players who are making this game to a succesful game by playing it every day!! And give the kind of answers like they do now to Monotaur then respect for the player and his interest is far away. Bad action BB!

This is also a problem when you take a trade and the original poster ignores it. 24 hours later, you get your stuff back in a mail, but quite often, by then, you have no space for it (especially for stuff low down in a chain, pine logs, fish etc...).
It's then difficult to manipulate the economy to clear room for these, and more often than not, they get deleted from the mail before you can achieve this. Perhaps rejected/unaccepted trades could go to the star menu, as quest awards currently do?

This is also solved with the market on the test server. When you make an offer on some items, it's either directly accepted or denied, no hours wait time to know if it was succesfull.

edit: and at the moment its an 8 hour wait, not 24 hour. Not that that changes much, because the problem stays existing no matter the time.

    Ok,
Since these posts and also following my last email to them above. this is what I have now received.

    Hello Monotaur,

You have logged in, on the 30th 7 times, on 31st 3 times, on 1st 4 times, on 2nd 5 times, on 3rd 2 times, on 4th 3 times, on 5th 3 times, on 6th 2 times, on 7th 4 times, on 8th 2 times, on 9th 2 times, on 10th 7 times, today so far 4 times. All these times you logged in were at different times throughout the day.
The information we have at our disposal confirms what you have told me and also of what I have told you.
Having said that, I have checked with the Devs team and the emails were deleted earlier than expected, I have also asked them if there was any chance they could send you those emails back. The have told me that since the emails were deleted there was no way to retrive them, however they have authorized a goodwill gesture of 40000 coal and gold ore to be sent to you this time only.
This hopefully should help you to make up for your loss. If you would like to accept that please let me know and I will get that sent for you.
Please in the future bare in mind this is a beta game, changes and unscheduled maintenances can happen at anytime, which may cause loss of items in game.
    Kind regards,
    BB_Blackwill

I won't bore you with all the after emails since then, but to cut a long story short, I have now received adequate compensation for my losses.
That said, I think it's important that players are made aware of this potential issue as I know for a fact it has happened to others.

To put it simply, be warned that it is not advisable to spend much time afk after putting in large trades for anything!

Thank you BB_Blackwill for finalising this matter appropriately

    Mono
