Hunter - Deposit missing. Why?

Hi,

Where ever I try to move my hunter it says that the deposit missing, even if there are wild animals or meat.

Anyone know why?

The hunter wont kill wild animals only the deposits you place in the trees...

Hi, How do I collect the meat deposits? when I click on the meat icon nothing happens?

Hi I have bought meat to and added that to the meat icon which helps provide for the butcher but my hunter building still says deposits missing. What do I need to do to relsove this????

In your provision house select the 3rd tab "Deposits" and make some "Musk Deer Fragrance". Once made, add them to a meat deposit near your hunter building to replenish the missing deposit.

I have noticed exclamation marks over player's hunters and when i check the closest meat deposit it is sure enough zero. But there are plenty of others still at 250 a distance away so they do not seem to be travelling anymore. So I do think there is a problem.

There may be a limit to how far they will go for a deposit.

There didn't used to be...? (I only built hunters in two places on my island and now all my meat deposits are empty apart from the one I replenish, so they must have travelled to those when the closest one dried up.)

Just for fun I paused all my hunters and built one next to a depleted meat deposit and far away from the next nearest deposit.

That hunter added to my meat stash no problem.

If you want to get BB to investigate a problem you will need to be very specific, and best support with screenies etc.
