How do you not lose any of the 27 soldiers in that block attack ? Block attacks are new to me so I don't understand that yet.

I understand the principal of it and how to do a block attack and block 2 makes sense, you send a sacrificial 1 rec wave to just engage the enemy long enough for your main gen to escape the zone of influence and of course you lose the 1 rec. Block 1 is where I'm confused as when I run the combat preview for the camp I'm sending the 27 soldiers to it shows heavy losses but according to the guide you don't lose any soldiers. I would just like to understand how that is possible. My guess is that the leader is killed before the other attack is finished since there was no battle report generated from that attack, as if it never happened. It works I don't doubt that I just would like to understand why.

Thank you also trimy now I understand fully. I just assumed that once an attack was started that it would have to finish. My first try doing this adventure I sent 27 soldiers and 173 recs first instead of a block so I lost more recs than I needed to. The second time doing this adventure I followed your guide and it worked just as you said.
