    EotW event/g-4 in Newfoundland

Since this event started - there has been great support and camaraderie in g-4. There has also been some issues, but that is to be expected.

For whatever reason - it ended up that Yass, Babybubbs and myself ended up as depositories for donations. We were not nominated, we were not elected - there was no official decision made by anyone.

We are all doing this because we want to help. We are all normally active in the chat channels, whether it be g-1, g-3, help or guild chat in our respective guilds. We have also played for a while and have large friend lists, which has become larger with some fantastic players that have supported the event.

In between trying to help with accepting and distributing items, we also try to play the adventure. We also have lives that sometimes interrupt. So it might take us a few minutes to reply. This is not to be mean or contrary.

None of us are profiting from this event, in fact most of us are loosing as we are not selling goods during the event. Which could probably be confirmed by our regular trading partners.

We all feel a responsibility to ensure that goods that have been donated end up with people that play the adventure. Some players have already been caught in selling the goods on in TO (And no - we did not take screenshots… If we were to take a screenshot of every donation request, people that sell in TO etc - we would get nothing done). Whilst I understand that those that are genuine feel it awkward/insulting to be questioned, please try and see it from our perspective, too.

We have all said no to people that are willing to donate goods, but it was goods that we were not sure if they would be needed or not. We are concentrating mainly on bread/brew/bows/bs, but also items that come in under these production chains. None of us wants to sit with large amount of items when the event finishes.

We are human and can make mistakes… We all have to make judgement calls the whole day when we are logged in - these judgement calls are in part based on our history with players, or lack of history also plays a part.

All 3 of have felt like "packing it in" at one or more points in the last week. But - the majority of people in g-4 have been fantastic and supportive in so many ways, and that has kept us going.

To ensure that we do not end up with large amounts of surplus at the end of the event - we will only accept donations for which we know there is a genuine need, as distributing it back fairly to the 100+ donators would be an absolute nightmare.

Kind regards BabyBubbs, BlueFairy and Yass (in alphabetical order…)

You have all done a sterling job and it has been a pleasure for me to have met you, and many other participating players who I may not have encountered outside of this global event.

Many, many thanks to the people that supported - from across all levels. Also many thanks to Yass and BabyBubbs for making it fun, for making it easier - and for making it a laugh. I'd almost consider doing it again. TY to the "Coven"

I just wanted to add my vote of thanks to Babybubbs, BlueFairy and Yass for making this such an enjoyable event. They have seen us through trials and tribulations. We might not make the 100% but the fun and games and chat have been well worth it and would happily do such an event again. Although, on a note to BB and developers, it might be better next time to just have it between the EU servers. So we do not feel defeated on the first day.

These three ladies have kept our spirits up when we started to feel down and kept us fighting through to the end.

    Well Done all of you.
