[Contest] New year Resolutions

After having celebrated the end of the year with your friends or family and survived all these epic parties, you realise that our Settlers simply forgot or simply avoided something crucial...



Indeed, a new year means new year resolution! Some of you have sworn to get into shape, some have made a promise never to be late at work again! But what about our dear Settlers?

This contest is easy: Try and find out what our settlers plan to do in the coming 2013. It can be a simple sentence, a journal entry, or story; anything you wish really as long as it's fun! All ideas are welcome!

Here is an example:

- The Tavern owner should create beverages with no alcohol, this would spare us the trouble of dealing with half an army of imcompetent fools!!


Rewards:

-The grand winner will win 1000 Gems.
-The next five winners will win 250 gems.

Dates:

The contest starts today and will end Monday the 14th of January. I will announce the winners Tuesday 15th in the afternoon.

i have just had an idea, i already posted it on news feedback under island buff. hope you will consider this as a valid entry

Every Barracks commander should have Bard fully employed so that those long trainings and journeys to enemy are more joyful,and who knows maybe among recruits or bowman there is a next Settlers singing superstar or dancestar, there is a rumor bowman dance realy good.

how awesome would it be to have a buff you can buy that buffs everything on your island at once. even if it lasted only an hour but was affordable, i think it would be worth having as it takes so long to buff everything individually and also uses so much resources its not always worth doing.
perhaps even better might be a night buff that lasts 8 hours so you put it on when you go to bed and then you actually have lots of resources to use and do things with when you get up and come back on. i get so bored waiting for things to produce enough to be able to do anything.

what would be nice to have would be nice for your explorer to find battle hardened gens when sent out as theres not much chance of getting one any other way ; this could also be used for savage scout

My Settlers New Years resolution is to get to level 50 and have all my buildings at level 5 before the year is over.

I want to give my guild mate the permission to replenish wells and wheat fields on my island. Up to 10 builds at a given time.

Specialists (generals, explorers, geologists) should be able to select a new employer, as long as their current owner treats them as plebs !!
(Their current owner should be able to sell or buy them thru the Trade office)

My Settlers Resolution is .......to stop using it as an excuse to be distracted away from my work........I am sure that millions of 'people hours' are distracted by it!

My new Years resolution is to find a rear entrance to the mayors palace as trying to sneak past the guards for my liasons with the mayor is very difficult through the main entrance.
