It's a personal preference I wanted to put out there since we were asked for our thoughts.

My point was it's more of the same and that's nothing memorable or lasting.. and by unique I was referring to something event specific rather than just another generic flowerbed... something that is outwardly interesting and a constant reminder of how the game-makers reward my patronage.

Many other games i've played have celebrated events and milestones with a totem of some sort that shows others that "I was around two years ago and got this cool thing".. and then the next year you get another item in a similar style, but not the same, that shows your status and dedication to the game.

Very nice gifts & very useful although people seem to prefer to trade theirs. There's no pleasing some people

Those buffs are more useful to people with buildings on high level (e.g. Coinage on level 5). On low level, it is better to sell them to high level users for gold and upgrade some building instead. That doesn't mean that those players are not pleased...

I was thrilled with my gifts, because it meant I could sell them ~ I havent quite figured out this whole making coins thing yet.

I would prefer buffs over unique decorations though, I mean, a giant heart shaped garden is all well and good in February, but come October, its going to clash a bit with the evil graveyard or the giant pumpkin house!
