I've just come back from a 5 day holiday (Feb 15-19) and I find my island is a different shape than expected.
-The goldmines I build just before leaving have not run out jet. prod time ~12-13 min = 5 gold harvested/h. 300(in a single mine)/5 = 60h of mining. I was gone for more than 120h but there is still 70 gold in the mines. How is that possible?
I used the economy overview to calculate the amount of meat, fish and wheat fields I needed to keep my hunters, fishermen and farms busy. I know the overview is not perfectly accurate, but these numbers make it look like my account was on hold for 2+ days.
-In stead of 2K there is 8K meat left for my hunters to 'harvest'
-In stead of 4K there is 14K fish left to be fished out of the ocean.
-I did not build enough (medium) wheat fields to last 5 days, but now I find 10 fields untouched and many more only half empty.
Also, my population only grew 280, not the 480 it should have. Now I will reach the limit this Friday or Saturday and not Wednesday evening
Does anyone have an explanation for all this? Even if we assume my math on the fish/meat/wheat was way of, and that the economy overview is terrible. That still doesn't explain the goldmines and the population.
I would like to know how this works because it could save a lot of work next time.
