Out of game notifications of the price change of gems

Hi!

I used to be a big fan of the Settlers, and recently decided to try that version. After some discussion with an in-game moderator (MOD_Gazza35) we came to the conclusion that the following service would be cool to have:
A service that notifies you (email or twitter) when the gems go on sale!

If I get more than 20 people saying that I should do it, I will.

Let me know!


NB: That service will be removed once the people behind this game setup the same thing.

Think he means to catch people that may otherwise miss out, it always happens that evening you're not online!

I often don't check the shop prices before logging in, and have missed a couple of happy hours as a result. It seems that BB have now decided to allow BB_Dantesama to post on the forums in advance (the day before) when a gem-sale is about to go ahead. This is more useful for people like me, who prefer to only get gems during a sale.

An email service, that lets people know when these announcements are made on the forums, would be great for some. I actually check these forums more often than my emails though... :P

People should really start reading the homepage before they click 'Play Now'.

Unless like some people (myself included), you bookmarked the game, and not the homepage, then you never see the 'Play Now' button, except following maintenance when you occasionally need to relogin.

I have recently changed my bookmarks though, so they do now point to the homepage, purely so I can see announcements, because I kept missing them...
