Whisper popup window
Hey,
when someone tries to whisper you whisper tab in chat panel start to blink and you get a message sound. If you do not use game sounds (like you are listening music or playing in school) you do not easily notice that you got whisper from someone. Is it possible that you add popup whisper window to somewhere closer middle screen, so it would be hard to be unnoticed that you got whisper.
You're supposed to be in school getting an education, not playing online games!

On topic: I miss whispers constantly, even with the *knock*, which can be annoying, but if a notice popped up every time? I'd go mad.

Hmm I think the subject was not about who is doing what and where. The problem still occur. School-aged? I do not think my parents affect my university study in any way. "No wonder the country is in a mess", I don't know how it is going in your country (The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland?), but in Finland we are doing pretty well (atleast when subject is education).
