sorry, Im afraid the contents are still not as good value as the old retail pack was I do wish you would bring that one back, or at least add better items to this one.
A Vet Gen or another more worthy item would be more appropriate than wood planks and stone that can readily be got dirt cheap in the trade office
yep, you can already buy 4800 gems in the shop as it is for the same price (even double when they go on sale). So I see no reason to buy the starter pack as it is, not even for new players, because it makes no added value compared to just gems.
Bring the old one back and I will buy ..... or I will if the game is fixed first.
What does "Digital version" mean?
Some they learn, some thy burn...
If your aware of the double gem days then it does not seem a good deal, If your not it seems a good deal untill you find out about double Gem days
However one feels about the content people have been asking for this for ages, well done BB for making it available.
First off - really positive that there is finally a digital version!
However I do agree that the items you get are not really very good value for money unless you're just starting out. I also think the pricing is quite misleading:
400 Planks = 260 gems
400 Stone = 300 gems
100 Tools = 55 gems
20 Settlers = 190 gems
Nords = 765 gems
Troop buff = 125
4000 gems = 4000 gems
Total: 6460 gems
To buy this at the current gem rate would cost 5600 (@£24.99) + 2000 (@£9.99) = 7600 gems @ £34.99. The bonus resources could be bought from the trade market for less than 100 gold (which only costs 350 gems) which actually puts the pack value at 5240 gems in real terms.
Finally as you get less in the digital version (3 maps) setting the price to £15.99 would actually make this more attractive overall.
My personal opinion is that a more lucrative option would be for an 'advanced' digital version:
£19.99 gets you:
4000 gems
400 Exotic Wood
300 Granite
1 Random Adventure (based on your level)
