I agree 100%, its up to the owner if he wants the guild to carry on or not.

I sincerely hope you can do something to fix this obvious problem with the guild system i would hate for this to happen to any happy guild member. A good guild is much more than the sum of the resources needed to build the guildhouse
    Please fix this BB

    +1 for Guild Ownership Transfer

As a guild Lead, myself, I find it rather stressful to never get a break from TSO.
Having very active Officers only helps up to a certain point.
If I don't log in for more than 48 hrs my guildies start to get upset (probably from previous experiences losing their guild due to Lead inactivity).
My guild, actually, was started because our previous Leader had medical issues and left the game.

And then there is the guilt of: what if one day I want to retire?

If someone has issues with "giving up for adoption" their guild, then maybe we could have a "First Officer" spot, that does everything Guild Lead can except for actually own the guild?
    Sincerely,

Every Guild-leader needs a break sooner or later, thats for sure. And there are many more obstacles that can force a guildleader to quit a game for while ..
Please BB, work something out, so Guild-Officers can take over. In many Onlinegames there is an option to ursurp the guild after a while, when the leader is inactive.

With in my guild atm we are having this issue. The guild leader has life issues that have come in the way of his ability to lead the guild therefore leaving myself in charge and effectively guild leader. I just cant do all of the stuff even though i have a guild house and everything. He contacted BB and asked to transfer ownership of the guild. This needs to be sorted.
I agree with all of the above
