Hi all,
I feel that the rewards system for guild quests could use some tweaking. I know that this has been looked at before, but there are still some issues.
Currently, guild-members who do not complete their part of the guild-quest recieve almost the same reward as those who do. I would like to see a system where there is more incentive to 'do your part'.
I know that in the past there were many complaints when people got no rewards at all when the guild-quest was completed whilst they were in an adventure requested by the Quest, and of course this is unacceptable.
Suggestions that I have heard so far include...
1) Giving the full guild-reward to those that have completed the sub-quest, and 50% (arbitrary) to those that have not:-
This might encourage a spirit of 'competition'.
Does not heavily penalise slow completion.
Reduces the temptation to 'leech' from other guildmates.
2) If a guild-quest is not completed in (say) 48 hours, reduce the available PERSONAL reward by (say) 10% every 12 hours:-
This may encourage people to step-up and get the quest done.
Please add any other suggestions and/or comments here.
Thanks for listening
