    Guild-Quest Rewards

    Hi all,

I feel that the rewards system for guild quests could use some tweaking. I know that this has been looked at before, but there are still some issues.

Currently, guild-members who do not complete their part of the guild-quest recieve almost the same reward as those who do. I would like to see a system where there is more incentive to 'do your part'.

I know that in the past there were many complaints when people got no rewards at all when the guild-quest was completed whilst they were in an adventure requested by the Quest, and of course this is unacceptable.

Suggestions that I have heard so far include...

    1) Giving the full guild-reward to those that have completed the sub-quest, and 50% (arbitrary) to those that have not:-

This might encourage a spirit of 'competition'.
Does not heavily penalise slow completion.
Reduces the temptation to 'leech' from other guildmates.

    2) If a guild-quest is not completed in (say) 48 hours, reduce the available PERSONAL reward by (say) 10% every 12 hours:-

This may encourage people to step-up and get the quest done.

Please add any other suggestions and/or comments here.

    Thanks for listening

    MT

Another suggestion is about a time limit. Let's say 5 days or a week.
After this time the guild quest ended and rewards only the members that they did their part (not all).

I think 5 days is too long. We usually know on the third day if it is going to be long one ...

all for giving the higher amount for doing it yourself with a smaller amount when the whole guild has completed it. We have regulars who do it all the time and others who just sit back and reap in the rewards. So an incentive to make them want to do it, and to make those who do it, not feel so negative bout those who arent

Instead of a set time limit, how about having it linked to cancelling the quest? If the guild leader chooses to cancel the quest the same day, the few who had a chance to complete it (perhaps before the guild leader got online?) should still be rewarded for their effort. Same goes if you're waiting 3 days for 2 more people to complete. Those who completed still get their full reward, everyone else gets a reduced award - a standard % of the total available, or perhaps it could be an admin function so the % reward can be set by the guild leaders?

We need a workable ide which does not penalize those who can't play 24/7, anything else is going to be unacceptable.

It would be nice to select which guildies would be participating in the guild quest.

Also would be nice, if someone has no time, resource or will to do the guild quest, he could be removed from the total count of finished quest by canceling his/her quest or something.
