All right, guildies. Let's start designing.
Remember: JohnDoe666 is the canvas, and assume we have an infinite amount of decorations and the ability to move any building except the Mayor's House.

Lots of people have cool decorations. But I was thinking of something much bolder. An artistic design that covered an island and used hundreds of decorations. The hard part is designing using statues and objects, not just flowers.

so do we do multi-coloured everywhere or zones with themes and certain colours?
We currently have 427 decorations just in my menu. Only 1/4 of that is flowers. Lots and lots of angel and horse statues.

I wonder... perhaps the easiest idea of all would be to try to design an actual, functioning city. City blocks, neighbourhoods, central squares, markets, etc.
Themes can work, but generally require a lot of expensive useful buildings.
Colours... maybe a sweeping colour shift, starting white at one side and slow changing through yellow to grey to brown or somesuch? I'm not sure it would be impressive enough. Hmm...

could we create a settlers character on the island using the decorations?
Just a reminder: don't forget to incorporate all the normal buildings into any design! JohnDoe666 still needs to have farms, smelters, barracks, etc. Most are cheap to build at L1, so adding a few is definitely an option.

could just do the head or face
looks like im going to have to be reorganizing the garden
if there's requirement for it i just delete a fisherman / mason and we can build whatever is available to build at lvl 42
./jd
what about the sleeping volcano image? it's a fairly simple shape and has a bit of colour ??
