Skipped one quest - now stuck 20XP from lvl 14 and no more quests

Hi all,

Started playing today and during this morning was given a quest to speed up the Geologist but by the time I read it he only had a few seconds to go so ignored that quest and let him complete normally. Given I didnt need to worry about that quest I deleted it from the list - now I find myself at lvl13 with no more quests and no more side quests that will earn me XP - I can see lock quests at lvl14 waiting to trigger but cannot get there now - I cannot yet build a barracks so cannot earn XP via battles so am basically stuck - any ideas now or do i just give in at this point???

yes - have sent a support ticket - any idea what sort of turn around time we are looking at ??

You can't build the "Barracks" but if you've bought the General you should be able to build the "Garrison". If you haven't already click him in your Star and place him on the Island, he'll build his tent and that should give the missing 20 xp.

The Side Quest to "Halve the Time of a Specialist" doesn't give xp, it gives a few gems, fortunately the Quests that must be completed to level up can't be canceled and Side Quests will just wait until/if you feel like doing them.

Support can be very quick or quite slow in their responses, the first thing they'll usually say is "Refresh, clear your cache and cookies and relog", so do try that if you haven't, there really should be something doable in your Quest Book, even if it's a bit hidden.

20XP to the better and off and running again - I assumed the missed quest was my problem but you were entirely correct - if I could give you some rep on these boards I would have!
