Actually you could invest 1 more manu for 3x Mountain boots reducing the search time down to just under 3 hours 40, this would allow 1 more search based on 16 hours awake as you say. You could also invest in 1 mome tome for 3 x Sturdy Shovel giving an additional 3% more loot. Though it may not look like much return from your investment of 2 books the result is 45% more granite than your numbers show.
When it comes to Gene pools and shallow ends they can be found at the bar drinking pina colada's
I got 17 explorers with a full skill tree doing medium adventure searches and 4 fully jolly geo for finding gold deposit/surplus gold. Kinda silly tho, my best loot so far has been 11 bag of snows and a couple of 3x buffs. (2x searches)

Granite in my Loot has now become a thing of the past for me.
A few weeks ago i bought a 7 day prem and went ape buying loot spots and doing my own adventures. I made enough granite to achieve major level 5 upgrades on my Barracks and Prov house, and still had enough left to do level 5 upgrades around my island.
Last week i did the same again, however, 2k of granite in the 7 days of prem time.
I thought i was just hitting a dry spell as i would assume there would be a cycle and you would get both good times then bad, and i can accept that.
In the hope that i was over my bad luck, i have bought another 7 day prem. Have a guess....still no granite. I have only had 2 lots of granite in very recent times, both from my own FT Adventures. And i was not on Prem then.
I hope this is not a permanent thing due to the new granite buildings and adjustments being made to lower granite levels...i don't even know if that is possible for BB to do. Would like to hear if anyone else has been having the same problem.
ok example better then black knights rewards 30 roaring bull loot spot done and it supossed to be 25% i will get granite surprise surprise out of 30 i got 4 granite wins
The trick is to nearly run out of exotic wood logs, do Island of the Pirates because nothing drops granite any more. Hey presto Granite !

What you drop now has no bearing at all on subsequent drops and therefore it's not a case of the loot system trying to work things out to give you 25% granite, so it's not really surprising that you got 13.33% instead of 25%. If you increase your sample size by 10% from 30 to 33 and drop granite 3 times you'll jump from 13.33% to 23.33% but if you fail another three times you'll drop from 13.33% to 12.12%.

Like a lot of you I've noticed the reduced drop rate for granite. Myself and two others in the guild have been doing 2+ adv's every day and in the last 30 days not one of us has had any granite.
If this is to drive people to buy the granite pit, all it will do is drive people to leave the game, which would be sad as I've been playing two years now
In order to find out if there really has been a reduce in granite from adventures I have conducted a research and here is a result. So far number of LS only 244 but rising

As you can see granite did not dissapear from the loot.
So all good according my standards
