It would be nice if we can have at least 3 binders, as it can produce 3 different items. I now get some stock as i need to produce both manus and first book..and would like to produce both in one time.. soon i'll need to produce the last book too. Compaired to how big the skill-tree is it will take all to long time to edducate the geo's when i can only produce one item atm..

    Manuscript (Increases per 10)
    • 250 + 200 + 10 = 1 (1 to 10)

    • 305 + 240 + 12 = 1 (21 to 30)
    • 335 + 265 + 13 = 1 (31 to 40)
    • 365 + 295 + 15 = 1 (41 to 50)
    • 405 + 320 + 16 = 1 (51 to 60)
    • 445 + 355 + 18 = 1 (61 to 70)
    • 490 + 390 + 19 = 1 (71 to 80)
    • 535 + 430 + 21 = 1 (81 to 90)
    • 590 + 470 + 24 = 1 (91 and above)

    Tome (Increases per 20)
    • 250 + 200 + 1 = 1 (1 to 20)
    • 350 + 240 + 2 = 1 (21 to 40)
    • 420 + 290 + 3 = 1 (41 to 60)
    • 505 + 345 + 4 = 1 (61 to 80)
    • 605 + 415 + 5 = 1 (81 and above)

    Codex (Increases per 30)
    • 250 + 200 + 1 = 1 (1 to 30)
    • 375 + 300 + 2 = 1 (31 to 60)

Ehh, why do you give penalty to those who want to gather?? But ok, be it. But why dont you take gold instead of manuscripts? I have lvl5 bookbinder with non-stop work and its still a pain to wait for my manuscripts to complete...

Is it my imagination, or does this system heavily penalise people who have several Geologists, and will cause problems for people when the Explorers Skills, currently on the Test Server, also make it onto the main server.

Once you have upgraded the skills on 5 or 6 Geologists, it will begin to require 15 manuscripts to make 1 Codex! Those players who have already been churning out books for their Geo's will suddenly find it very difficult to upgrade their explorers. Assuming a Lv 5 bookbinder, it will take at least 10 days to make one codex, not to mention the resources...

    15 Manuscripts @ 12 hours each = 7 days 12 hours
    3 Tomes @ 14 Hours 24 mins each = 1 day 19 hours 12 mins
    1 Codex @ 16 hours 48 mins = 16 hours 48 mins
    Total = 10 days!
    Required Resources = 8,850 + 7,050 + 360 + 1,815 + 1,245 + 560 + 400

This seems a little excessive for what could be the first codex that you use on an Explorer...?

If it is you you're not the only one with a wild imagination. If the General and Island skill trees also use Books things are looking quite mad indeed. Had all the trees been introduced at once it would have been different perhaps, still ridiculously costly but at least the options would have been clear. As it is, with long breaks between introductions and people being excited to play with the long promised offerings, by the time the second set (Explorer) rolls in it's already expensive and slow, thinking of the fourth set... even a Manuscript makes the eyes water a bit.

if you choose the 50% refund of your science books from a Geologists/Explorer, does the cost of producing new books get reduced to account for the books you lost?
