Just a heads up.
This bug also occurs, if your producing buffs in the provision house, wich your buff partner can not produce.
My friend who is still new to the game, lv 20, still dont have access to Irma's gift baskets, could not visit me when I was producing the basket.
I removed it from my provision house list, and then he had instant access.

This seems to be the issue for my son as well. At least it worked again when I was not producing anything in PH.

same problem 29-6-2013 and 30-06-2013 my friend can't visit me.
And i can't donate 100 balloons, last quest. The donate function has been deactivated.

This issue has been around for several weeks. I contacted support about it a while back who said they knew about it but couldn't do anything about it.

As for the balloons that happens when your server completes phase 1 of the event.

The Devs have known about the issue for some time - at least since I started this thread. Try anything that works to get round it, but it might not be possible to visit islands at all times. Hopefully we'll get a bugfix soon.

Got this issue as well.
For a time, I thought it was just my internet acting up, but then a friend told me I can't visit because he was training ES.
I had to say though...it's the weirdest bug yet.
Hope you fix this one soon mods.

Hi there, unable to visit one of my current friends, "Loading Map" just keeps on flashing and nothing else happens. Have tried multiple times over the last 2 days and even let left it alone for a good 30 minutes... Please Help and Advise ... Simon AKA Sydney-Also from Sandy Cove UK3

Hey there, might want to check out this thread, it appears to cover the issue you are describing. Normally happens when a user is producing something in their barracks that you can't yet produce at your level. (Or Provision House!)

when ever i wist my friends maps the loader stops and it doesnot responce i have refresh the browser

After maintenance on 01/08/2013, I can not go to another island. Screen darkens and appears "Loaded Map". After restarting the game and the computer does not get better. Suggestions?
