Disappearing Buffs

Hey there!
Does anyone here know of a bug where buffs seem to disappear from the star menu? I play with a friend of mine who's buffing me, and i buff her, so i probably use like 100 buffs a day.. and i've been producing buffs for the last 6-7 days straight with a provision house on level 4 (produced more around ~22k sausage to buffs). Nevertheless ive experienced the problem twice now that when i come online i only have like 75 aunt irmas gift baskets left, even though there were lots of buffs left when i went offline the day before. I suspect that it could have something to do with that i got to many items in the star manu; and deleted some adventures because of that but nothing happened. Well thats my problem atm; hope anyone has similar experiences and can help me on this issue..


(ah yeah a sidenote: since the last patch i cannot see when buildings are buffed by someone else; I suspect that disappeares whenever i restart my PC and updates flash player or so though?)

Sometimes lag can play havoc with what you do and don't have when it comes to buffs in your star menu.

It normally happens when you are applying buffs but don't wait for the animation to catch up, or if you return to your home island before the buff applies on a friends building.

You can sometimes replicate this by

1. Checking the amount of buffs you have in your star menu (make a note somewhere).
2. Go to a friends island
3. Apply a single buff
4. Return to your home island before the buff animation shows
5. Check the amount of buffs you have in your star menu
6. Refresh your client
7. Count the amount of buffs you have in your star menu

It might be something similar to this that is causing your problem, I've certainly noticed this issue before now, when you apply a "ghost buff" nothing will take effect. Always worth a refresh once in a while to see if something like this is happening.
